Men's Tennis Drops Contest to Scranton

SCRANTON, Pa. - Messiah men's tennis dropped their contest 8-1 to the University of Scranton earlier this afternoon. The loss drops the Falcons to 0-3 on the season. 

Tim Dunn had a solid day for the Falcons, defeating his opponent in a tightly contested three set match; eventually winning by a 6-4 decision. Dunn lost a close match with partner Connor Graybach in doubles, by a 9-7 decision. 

Alex Mantseuch and Andrew Bookman dropped a close 8-4 decision in their doubles match. In singles, Bryson Boettger lost the first set 6-1, but put up a fight in the second set, losing 6-3. 

The Falcons are back in action Oct. 7 at Goucher College.
