JACKSON SPRINGS, N.C. -  The Messiah College men's golf team traveled down to North Carolina to compete in their first tournament of the 2018 spring season. The Falcons finished 13th of 13 at the two-day Brown Golf Intercollegiate Tournament after shooting a total team score of 704 (368, 336). Wayne State University (Michigan) took home first place and carded an impressive two-day score of 589 (+13).

Ryan Kirk led the way for the Falcons shooting a two-day total of 173 (88,85), while Josh Hagwell (174) and Bryce Watkins (175) were close behind. Daniel Wright and Justin Martin also competed for Messiah and both finished with 189 after two days.

Messiah will be back in action on Wednesday, Mar. 28 when they compete at the Dickinson Invitational at Mayapple Golf Links.
