ELVERSON, Pa. - The Messiah College men's golf team competed in the Ursinus College Invitational on Tuesday afternoon and finished 12th among a field of 20 teams. The Falcons shot a team score of 342 (+62) on the day. Penn State Berks took home first place with a team score of 310 (+30).
Nik Mourelatos led Messiah by shooting an 82 and finishing t-28th on the afternoon.
Bryce Watkins was close behind and carded an 83, while
Daniel Wright shot an 86.
Josh Hagwell and
Justin Martin also competed for the Falcons and shot a 91 and 101, respectively.
Messiah will be back in action Thursday, Apr. 12 when they travel to compete in the Moravian Invitational at the Southmoore Golf Course. Tee times are scheduled to start at 12:30 p.m.
