BATH, Pa. - The Messiah College men's golf team finished tied for fifth place at the Moravian College Spring Golf Invitational on Thursday afternoon. The Falcons completed the day tied with Wesley College after both teams recorded a team score of 324 ( 40). Home team Moravian secured first place after shooting an impressive 298 ( 14). 

Bryce Watkins led the Falcons and finished the day t-10th after carding a 78 ( 7), this was Watkins second best round of the season. Josh Hagwell (t-12th) was right behind Watkins and played his best round of golf this season as he recorded a 79. Ryan Kirk posted an 82 for Messiah, while Daniel Wright recorded an 85. Justin Martin also participated for the Falcons and scored a 96.

Messiah will be back in action this weekend as they compete in the two-day Rosemont Invitational at Southmoore Golf Course.
