GRANTHAM, Pa. – The Messiah women's track & field team won the Messiah Invitational today with a total of 192.5 points. An overall strong showing from the whole team and there were some first-place finishes among the athletes
Kayla Miller had a good run in the 800 placing first with a time of 2:23.38 while
Sarah Codd placed first in the 1500 with a finish time of 4:57.26.
Kristen Frawley ran in the 100-meter hurdles and placed first with a time of 15.04 seconds and that time is a top-four time in this event at Messiah. In the 400-meter hurdles Messiah took the top two spots with
Leanne Weaver (64.19) and
Kelsie Kennedy (66.60) finishing in first and second.
Elizabeth Cole won the high jump event with a mark of 1.63m which tied the program record, while
Taylor Wiederrecht came in third with a jump of 1.58m.

- Kiera Wells ran in the 100-meter dash and finished fourth with a time of 13.02 seconds.
- Rebecca Crosley placed seventh in the 200-meter dash with a time of 27.38 seconds and then placed second in the 400-meter dash with a PR time of 59.80 seconds.
- McKenna Welshans ran the 400-meter dash in a time of 64.51 seconds for seventh place.
- Emma Fertig placed sixth in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:31.03.
- Andrea Timbone qualified for MAC Championships in the high hurdles with a time of 18.65 seconds.
- In the 1500-meter run Maddison Landis finished second with a time of 4:59.02 with Mikayla Lewin in seventh place with a time of 5:09.42.
- In the 5000-meter run Elizabeth Lelonek placed fourth with a time of 20:30.46.
- Grace McClelland (45:27.31) and Maddie Smith (49:18.79) finished third and fourth respectively in the 1000-meter run. McClelland's time was fast enought to qualify for MAC Championships.
- Rachel Aukamp ran well in the 3000-meter steeplechase placing third with a time of 12:55.94.
- The team of Frawley, Kennedy, Wells, and Taylor Wiederrecht placed third in the 4x100 relay with a time of 50.42 seconds.
- In the 4x400 relay Weaver, Crosley, Miller, and Wiederrecht placed first with a time of 4:08.79.
- Rachael Romain competed in the triple jump and placed third with a mark of 10.40m.
- Alecia Rohrer finished fourth in the shot put with a throw of 11.40m but placed first in the javelin with a mark of 38.80m. Teammate Leah Springer finished fourth in the javelin with a throw of 35.71m.
