WESTMINSTER, Md. - The Messiah softball team swept McDaniel College today winning 6-4 in game one and 8-0 in game two (5 innings). The Falcons racked up 16 total hits on the day and
Amber Bingaman went 3-3 in game two with four RBI's and two runs scored while
Haylee Anders and
Carrie Fix were both 2-3 in game one. Fix (9-6) earned the win in the pitching circle in game one and
Joy Kolakowski (9-4) won game two.
The Falcons improved to 24-16 on the year and will have some time off before playing in the MAC Commonwealth Tournament set to take place May 4-6 in Annville, Pa.
