Messiah Has Strong Showing at Millersville Metrics Invite

Final Results

MILLERSVILLE, Pa. – The Messiah men's and women's outdoor track & field teams competed at the Millersville Metrics Invite today and had a good showing overall with some athletes earning top-five finishes. The men finished first in the meet with 95.50 points and the women placed second with 125.50 points.

  • Elizabeth Cole finished second in the high jump with a mark of 158m.
  • Rachael Romain finished third in the triple jump with a jump of 10.44m.
  • In the 100-meter dash, Kiera Wells competed finishing fourth place with a time of 13.35 seconds.
  • Leanne Weaver placed first in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:18.50. She also ran the in the 3000-meter steeplechase finishing in a time of 11:37.49 for second place, while Elizabeth Lelonek placed third with a time of 12:27.33.
  • Danielle Cardone ran in the 1500 meters finishing sixth with a time of 5:05.93
  • Rebecca Crosley placed sixth in the 400-meter dash with a finish time of 1:03.28.
  • Kristen Frawley was very impressive in the 100-meter hurdles, placing second with a lifetime PR of 15.23 seconds.
  • In the 400-meter hurdles Kelsie Kennedy competed and placed second with a finish time of 1:06.59.
  • The team of Frawley, Kennedy, Wells, and Taylor Wiederrecht competed in the 4x100 relay finishing third with a time of 50.98 seconds.
