2018 NFCA All-American Teams
LOUISVILLE, Ky. - The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) announced the 2018 Division III All-Americans last night and Messiah softball player
Erin Cressman earned the highest mark of being named First Team All-American.
Cressman is the 16th player in program history to be named an All-American, but just the third to earn First Team recognition. This award comes just a few weeks after she was named NFCA First Team All-Region for the third-straight season.
Cressman had a tremendous 2018 campaign as she led the team with a .423 batting average, 11 home runs, a .829 slugging percentage, and 37 RBI's. Also the leader on the team for runs scored (50) and walks (46), with both marks breaking program season records. Defensively Cressman carried a .949 fielding percentage and collected 88 assists with 42 putouts.
