MEDFORD, Ma. - The Falcons took a small crew to Tufts University to compete in the Tufts National Qualifying Meet. Of the crew, Messiah had

Esther Seeland set the tone with a record-shattering performance in the distance medley relay. On the men's side,
Benjamin Schott,
Alex Scheib,
Matthew Royer, and
Tyler McFeaters also broke a program record in the distance medley relay.
Abby McMinn competed in the 60m hurdles, finishing in ninth overall with a time of 9.36 seconds.

Maddison Landis,
Ellissa Slader,
Leanne Weaver, and
Esther Seeland ran an 11:53.61 in the distance medley relay, breaking the previous record set in 2010 (12:11.31) by nearly 17 seconds. Earlier this season, three of the four members of this squad (M. Landis, E. Slader, E. Seeland) combined for a 12:34.07, putting them fourth in program history. With this record, the women's track and field team has now broken all relay records (4x200m, 4x400m, 4x800m, and DMR) during the 2018-19 indoor season.Â
Abby McMinn competed in the 60m hurdles to represent the Falcons and came across the line in 9.36 seconds, finishing in ninth. McMinn's time is her fourth-fastest race of her career.
