HUNTINGDON, Pa. - The Messiah College men's tennis team fell to the Juniata Eagles 7-2 on Wednesday evening. The Falcons picked up a win in both singles and doubles action, but weren't able to close out the rest.
How It Happened
Alex Mantsevich and
Bryson Boettger picked up win in the No. 2 doubles position after they defeated their opponents 8-7 (7-2). No. 3 doubles
Jarod Snader and
AJ Swanson battled hard, however they fell 8-6 in their doubles match up.
In singles action,
Alex Mantsevich fought and came out victorious in the tie break set (6-2, 3-6 (10-7)).
AJ Swanson also competed well for the Falcons but couldn't pull out the win, falling to his opponent 6-3, 4-6 (10-4).
