ANNVILLE, Pa. - The Messiah College men's tennis team will return to the MAC Commonwealth Championship for the sixth-straight season after they defeated the Lebanon Valley Dutchmen 5-3 on Tuesday afternoon. The Falcons had a hot start going 2-1 in doubles action and then finished things off by claiming No. 3, No. 4, and No. 5 singles matches. Messiah will head back to the MAC Commonwealth Championship to hunt for their sixth-straight conference title.

The Falcons started things off winning two out of the three doubles matches. No. 1

Andrew Bookman picked up Messiah's first victory, defeating their opponent 8-3. No. 3

Cody Fitzwater had a close match but pulled out an 8-7 (7-5) win.Â
In singles play, the Dutchmen came alive and claimed the No. 2 (6-1, 6-0) and No. 6 (6-3, 6-0) matches. However, the Falcons closed out the afternoon by securing victories in the No. 3, No. 4, and No. 5 slots. No. 3
Andrew Bookman defeated Reed Morris 6-3, 6-3 and No. 5
Jarod Snader defeated Luke Senft 6-3, 6-4. No.4
Bryson Boettger won his first set 6-2 and was tested in the second set, but held on for a 7-5 victory.
