Annville, Pa – The Falcons had an excellent shooting night as they took command early and never let up as they beat the Flying Dutchmen by 28 points. Matt Glogowski led Messiah with 19 points and Arkese Claiborne added 10 in the 68-40 win. Messiah will play again on December 29, when they travel to Virginia to play Roanoke College.
 
First Half
Messiah jumped all over Lebanon Valley early, going on a 22-2 run in the first six minutes of play, shooting 83% from three. Matt Glogowski led the team with seven points while Arkese Claiborne added six during the six and half minute stretch in the first half. The Falcons suffocated the Dutchmen, forcing four turnovers while holding them to 20% shooting from the field.
 
The second part of the first half was rather even, with Messiah having the slight advantage 14-13 to make the score going into the half 36-15. Glogowski's point total went up to 16 to lead all scorers at the half while Messiah as a team shot 56% from the floor. Lebanon valley on the other hand went cold, shooting 20% from the floor in the first half. Messiah never trailed in the first half.
 
Second Half
Messiah continued to shoot well in the second half, this time at a 43% mark and won 68-40. The Falcons ended the game shooting 49% from the floor and 48% from three. Glogowski added three more points in the second half to bring his total for the game to 19. Arkese Claiborne was the next highest scorer for Messiah with 10.

The win brings Messiah's record to 4-6 and 2-2 in the conference. They travel to Virginia for their next game on December 29, when they play Roanoke College.
