NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. - On Tuesday afternoon, the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) announced their 2021 Academic Honor Squads and their Academic Honor Roll. The Falcons were well represented with the team earning an Academic Honor Squad accolade and 10 individuals appearing on the Academic Honor Roll.
Including the Falcons, a total of 319 women's lacrosse programs were honored across Divisions I, II, and III as well as the NAIA on the Academic Honor Squad. All programs included must have posted a team GPA of 3.20 or higher for the entire academic year. Last season the IWLCA did not award academic honors due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but Messiah has earned the Academic Honor Squad nod in each of the last 12 seasons that it has been presented.
Individually, Messiah had a total of 10 student-athletes earn a spot on the Academic Honor Roll that celebrates student-athletes who hold a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or higher. Across all of Division III, 922 student-athletes from 190 institutions were honored. To be eligible, student-athletes must be a junior, senior, or graduate student. The Falcons honored included:

Nicole Radcliffe - Sr. - Defense - Accounting
Makenzie Schnur - Jr. - Attack - Mathematics
Katie Stottlemyer - Sr. - Defense - Actuarial Science
Amanda Wadsworth - Jr. - Attack - Elementary Education/Special Education
MaddiGrace Wood - Jr. - Defense - International Business
