ANNVILLE, PA. - The Messiah men's cross country team picked up their fifth conference championship in program history and their fourth title in the last five years. The Falcons finished Saturday's MAC Championship with 40 team points, well ahead of second-place Widener's 81 team points. The Falcons were led by
Logan Horst, who earned his second-straight MAC Runner of the Year honor with a first-place finish in a time of 24:54.3.
Andrew Hutchinson was close behind, taking second place with a time of 25:05.9 as the Falcons earned five of the top 16 finishers.
Louka Fetter earned Rookie of the Year honors with a seventh-place finish in 25:43.2 while head coach
Dale Fogelsanger was named the men's cross country Coach of the Year.
Horst, Hutchinson and Fetter earned First Team All-MAC while
Josiah Moyer and
Noah Calisti earned Second Team All-MAC honors on the afternoon.
The NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional is up next for the Falcoms. Messiah will compete in the NCAA Regional on Nov. 12 in Lock Haven, Pa.

Messiah was able to pick up yet another Conference Championship with five top 16 finishes in this afternoon's MAC Championships.
Logan Horst finished first overall with a time of 24:54.3 earning him MAC Runner of the Year. Teammate
Andrew Hutchinson finished behind in second with a time of 25:05.9.
Louka Fetter picked up 7th place with a time of 25:43.2 which also earned him MAC Commonwealth Rookie of the Year. In 14th place,
Josiah Moyer (26:00.6) and
Noah Calisti in 16th place (26:04.8) rounded out the top five Falcons on the day. The Falcons scored 40 points and won the MAC Commonwealth Title for the fourth time in five years.

Louka Fetter won the Rookie of the Year.
Dale Fogelsanger won Coach of the Year as well.
Horst, Hutchinson and Fetter all earned First Team honors while Moyer and Calisti earned Second Team honors.
