ANNVILLE, Pa. – On Tuesday morning, the Middle Atlantic Conference announced their end of year award winners and All-Conference honors for the 2022 women's volleyball season. Among the honorees, were five Messiah student-athletes with
Mackenzie Feight leading the way with First Team honors from the outside hitter position.
In addition to Feight's First Team honor, Messiah claimed a pair of Second Team honors with setter
Emma Swartz and middle hitter

Maddy Eby and outside hitter
Caitlin Lielbriedis earned Honorable Mention accolades for the Falcons.
Feight's First Team honor is the second of her career after she was named the Conference's Player of the Year last season. Barnhart's Second Team honor is the second of her career after she was named an Honorable Mention last season. Lieldriedis, Eby, and Swartz picked up the first honors of their career following the 2022 season.
Mackenzie Feight led the Falcons' offensive attack this season with 400 kills on the season and a .179 hitting percentage. Feight averages 3.85 kills per set and finished the season third in the conference with her 400 kills. Defensively, Feight has picked up 319 digs on the season while averaging 3.16 digs per set. Between her 45 service aces, 400 kills, and 13 blocks, Feight averages 4.36 points per set, the third most in the conference.
Earning Second Team honors were setter
Emma Swartz and middle hitter
Chayney Barnhart this season. Sophomore
Emma Swartz has facilitated the offense all season long, picking up 905 assists this season. She averages 8.70 assists per set and currently stands third in the conference with assists per set. Just two weeks ago, Swartz picked up her 1,000th career assist against Stevenson and is the eighth setter in program history with at least 1,000 assists. Swartz has been deadly from the service line with a conference-high 74 service aces this season.
Out of the middle,
Chayney Barnhart leads the Falcons with a .281 hitting percentage on the season with 236 kills on the year. She averages 2.27 kills per set while tying for the team lead with 0.63 blocks per set. Barnhart's 66 total blocks are tops on the team and fifth in the MAC Commonwealth this season.
Maddy Eby made her presence felt for the Falcons in her first season in Grantham. The junior transfer earned her first All-Conference accolade, being named Honorable Mention. Eby leads the Falcons with 382 digs while averaging just shy of four digs per set at 3.94. Her digs per set average currently ranks fourth in the conference as Messiah's defense is holding their opponents to a .166 hitting percentage on the year.
Caitlin Lielbriedis also earned her first career All-Conference honor, joining Eby with an Honorable Mention nod. The sophomore outside hitter is second on the team with 261 kills while average 2.56 kills per set. She's hit at a .166 clip on the season while picking up 23 service aces, 294 digs, and 23 total blocks.
With five honors this season, Messiah picks up their most All-Conference honors in a single season since 2016 when they earned six honors.
