READING, PA. - The Albright College Lions took care of the Falcons 79-63 early on Saturday afternoon.
Tim Edwards dropped 20 points, while
Arkese Claiborne scored 16 points on the day.
Tyler Penley led the team in rebounds with 12.
The Falcons will take the week off before traveling to Florida for two regular season matchups. First up on Dec. 20, Messiah will the play the Wentworth Institute of Technology.

The Falcons got up early with a 15-9 advantage before Albright rallied back taking a 22-16 lead with under ten to play in the first half. Messiah kept it close throughout the rest of the half and went to the break tied at 35. Out of halftime, the game was tightly contested until Albright started to pull ahead and was up 11 with under nine minutes to play.
That lead grew to as much at 17 when the Lions led 70-53 with five and half to go. Albright closed the game out comfortably and won 79-63. The Falcons shot 42% from the floor but only 12% from beyond the arc. Edwards led the Falcons with 20 points while Claiborne added 16. Penley led the team in rebounds with 12.

The loss brings the Falcons record to 5-5 and 1-2 in the conference. They will travel to Florida where they will play the Wentworth Institute of Technology on December 20 at a time TBD.
