READING, PA - The Messiah Field Hockey team tackled another conference opponent this afternoon, this time it was Albright, as Messiah won 5-1. Five different goal scorers found the stat sheet in the game, giving the Falcons their sixth win of the season. Kline, Womer, Bryner, North and Seubert all scored in the 5-1 win.
Messiah will travel to Ursinus on September 28 for a non conference match slated for 7:00 PM in Collegeville, Pa.

Messiah struck first with a goal from
Mallory Kline to take a 1-0 lead. That lead held until the beginning of the second quarter when
Hailey Womer doubled the lead to 2-0 with a goal. Less than 30 seconds later, Albight answered to cut the deficit back down to one.
Leah Bryner added the Falcons third goal of the game to take 3-1 lead. The Falcons took that 3-1 lead into the half. After a scoreless third quarter,
Megan North added a score and
Lauren Seubert added a penalty stroke goal to make the score 5-1. It would stay that way as Messiah would go on to win 5-1.
Stats
Kline, Womer, Bryner, North and Seubert each scored a goal on the afternoon. For Kline and Seubert, it was their fourth goals of the season while Bryner tacked on her second of the year. For North and Womer, it was the first time they had found the back of the cage this season. Messiah out-shot Albright 18-2 and had 14 corners to Albright's three. Otherwise, it was another convincing conference win for the Falcons.

The win takes the Falcons to 6-2 and 2-0 in the conference. They will be on the road again this Wednesday, when they face Ursinus College in a non conference matchup. That game will be played in Collegeville, Pa at 7:00 PM on September 28.
