LEXINGTON, Ky. – On Wednesday afternoon, the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) announced their All-Region awards and teams.
Sarah Hart was named the Region V Rookie of the Year after a stellar first year as a Falcon. Hart is the first Falcon in program history to be named All-Region Rookie of the Year.
The 2023 MAC Commonwealth Rookie of the Year,
Sarah Hart earned All-Region Rookie of the year after a dominant first year at Messiah. Hart started in 13 of the Falcons 29 matches and appeared in every match. Hart finished the season second on the team with 258 kills and 2.80 kills per set. Hart also added 23 blocks on the season.
