GRANTHAM, Pa. - The Messiah University cross county teams will travel to Lock Haven University for the 2023 Mid-Atlantic Regional races. The teams will compete on the West Branch Cross Country Course, a course that both teams are familiar with after racing in the Lock Haven University Invitational on Sept. 23. The men's race will begin at 11:00 a.m., with the women's race following at 12:00 p.m.

Men's Cross Country
In the MAC Championships in Dallas, Pa on Oct. 28, The Falcons finished with 109 points and finished third out of 13 teams. The Falcons are currently ranked seventh in the Mid-Atlantic region. Last season the Falcons finished third out of 32 teams in regional race.

Runners to Watch
Louka Fetter has been the top runner for the Falcons this season. Fetter has finished first for the Falcons in every race this season he has competed in. Fetter finished seventh in the MAC Championships with a time of 27:21.50.
Kyle Costello and
Noah Calisti have been two of the other top runners for the Falcons. Costello finished 20th in the MAC Championships and Calisti finished 22nd.
Josh Bauman and
Jonathan Wyrick also look to be top runners after both finishing in the top-five in the MAC Championships.
Women's Cross Country
After finishing fifth in the MAC Championships on Oct. 28, the Messiah University women's cross country team is ready to compete in the 2023 Mid-Atlantic Regional. Last season the Falcons finished 11th out of 29 teams in the regional race.

Runners to Watch
The Falcons were led all season by senior
Katie Anthony. Anthony finished every race she competed in as the top Falcons racer. Anthony finished third in the MAC Championships with a time of 24:03.80.
Madison Kimmel also is a runner to watch in the regional race. Kimmel won MAC Rookie of the Year after finishing 14th in the MAC Championships. Kimmel has finished second in every race for the Falcons this season.

Samantha Mynio, and
Julia Steel are other names to watch after each finished in the top-five for Falcons racers in the MAC Championships.
