Geneva, N.Y. – On Tuesday, the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) announced their 2023 NFHCA Division III All-American teams.
Nicole Shank was named to the first team and
Aubrey Clark earned second team honors.

The 2023 NFHCA Region V Co-Player of the Year,
Nicole Shank had a dynamic 2023 season with her dominant defense and added offensive firepower. Shank earned the MAC Commonwealth Co-Defensive Player of the Year, NFHCA Region V First Team, and First Team All-MAC Commonwealth after leading the Falcons with 22 points on seven goals and eight assists, while leading an impressive Messiah defense. Shank helped the Messiah defense record nine shutouts on the season.

The 2023 MAC Commonwealth Rookie of the Year and First Team All-Region selection,
Aubrey Clark had an impressive first year as a Falcon. The 15th Conference Rookie of the Year in program history, Clark finished second on the team with 21 points on nine goals and three assists. Clark started her career strong as a Falcon with a point in the first five games of the season.

The Falcons finished the 2023 season 18-2 with a 7-0 record in MAC Commonwealth play. The Falcons defeated York, 1-0 to win their 16th straight MAC Commonwealth Championship. The Falcons fell to No. 1 Middlebury 3-0 in the NCAA Third Round.
