GREENWOOD, Ind. – Earlier this week, the College Sports Communications (CSC) announced the 2023 Academic All-District Women's Volleyball teams. Among the honorees were three Falcons. These three individuals are now eligible to be selected as Academic All-Americans by the CSC, an award that will be announced in the coming weeks.
Women's Volleyball
Chayney Barnhart – Jr. – 3.73 cumulative GPA, Health & Phys Educ: K-12 Teach
Maddy Eby – Sr. – 3.96 cumulative GPA, Public Relations
Caitlin Lielbriedis – Jr. – 3.92 cumulative GPA, Applied Health Science
About the CSC Academic All-District Program
The 2023 Academic All-District program, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field/court and in the classroom. All honorees must carry a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.50 and be enrolled at the institution for at least one full calendar year. Academic All-District honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced in the coming weeks.
