AUSTIN, Texas – Earlier this week the College Sports Communications (CSC) honored a number of Messiah student-athletes with the announcement of the Academic All-District teams for men's and women's basketball. Among the honorees were eight Messiah student-athletes with four from both the men's and women's basketball programs.
The eight honorees from this week's Academic All-District accolades are now eligible for the Academic All-American honor.
Men's Basketball
Jack Ramsey – Jr. – 3.81 GPA, Nursing
Arkese Claiborne – Jr. – 3.63 GPA, Communication
Bryce Coletti – Jr. – 3.60 GPA, Applied Health Science
Evan Parker – Jr. – 3.60 GPA, Applied Health Science
Women's Basketball
Morgan Adams – Jr. – Forward – 3.85 GPA, Ed Dual Cert: PreK-4, SpEd N-12
Chloe Milanesi – Jr. – Guard – 3.68 GPA, Applied Health Science
Reese Harden – Jr. – Guard – 3.58 GPA, Health & Phys Educ: K-12 Teach
Faith Grula – Jr. – Forward – 3.64 GPA, Applied Health Science
About the CSC Academic All-District Program
The 2022-23 Academic All-District program, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field/court and in the classroom. All honorees must carry a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.50 and be enrolled at the institution for at least one full calendar year. Academic All-District honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced in mid-March.
