ANNVILLE, PA. - The Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) announced its All-MAC Commonwealth all-conference selections as well as its individual awards this morning and
Tyler Penley of the Messiah men's basketball was accredited with an Honorable Mention nod. It is Penley's first MAC Commonwealth award in his career.
Penley's consistent efforts throughout the season in the paint and around the perimeter helped lead the Falcons offensively. Penley led the Falcons in points and rebounds per game on the season, averaging 13 points and 8.7 boards per game.
Penley also paced the Falcons in minutes, averaging the second-most minutes per game at 32 in 25 games. Penley started all 25 games for the Falcons and certainly had some incredible moments on the year. On February 4, Penley recorded a career high 27 points against Hood. Throughout the year, Penley tallied six double-doubles to earn his first MAC Commonwealth accolade of his career.
