ANNVILLE, Pa. – On Friday afternoon, the Middle Atlantic Conference announced their 2022 Fall MAC Senior Scholar-Athletes. Among the seven student-athletes honored by the conference were a pair of Messiah Falcons with Logan Horst named the men's cross country Senior Scholar Athlete and Jake Lent-Koop named the honoree for men's soccer.

For every sport the MAC sponsors, one student-athlete is honored for their strong academic and athletic prowess. This distinction is handed out to a singular student-athlete across all MAC institutions, including all of the MAC Commonwealth and MAC Freedom schools.

Messiah has been honored with 74 total Senior Scholar-Athletes by the MAC with 31 men and 43 women celebrated. The Falcons' 74 honors are more than double any other school in conference history, with Lebanon Valley sitting in second place with 33 honors.

For the Fall of 2022, Messiah was the only institution with more than one individual named Senior Scholar Athlete.
