HILTON HEAD, SC. - The Messiah men's tennis team fell to the Falcons of Pfeiffer University this evening 8-1 under the lights of the Hilton Head Beach and Tennis Club. The No. 1 doubles duo of
Chase Wilson and
Connor Rose earned the lone win on the day for Messiah winning 8-5.
Messiah will be back in action tomorrow at 4:30 PM when they face Roanoke.
On the Courts

Connor Rose played a well fought match at the No. 1 doubles spot and won 8-5.

Jonathan Baker lost in their matches 8-2 and 8-4 respectively.
In No. 1 singles, Wilson started in the sunlight and ended under the lights of the Hilton Head Beach and Tennis facility. Going back and forth trading blows Wilson ultimately fell in a battle 5-7, 2-6.
Connor Rose also played well in a 4-6, 2-6 loss on Court two while
Josh Gingerich fell in a second set tiebreak 2-6, 6-7(3) on court four. Courts three, five and six won a combined four games for the Falcons.

The loss evens up the Falcons record for their spring break trip. The Falcons will face Roanoke on Wednesday, March 8, at 4:30 PM.
