GRANTHAM, PA. - The Messiah men's volleyball team honored their seniors tonight against the Hood College Blazers and were rewarded with a 3-0 sweep to finish of the conference schedule with an 8-1 mark. Multiple Falcons found the stat sheet in tonight's victory.
The Falcons will travel to Poughkeepsie, N.Y. for a tri-match against Vassar and Ramapo. Messiah will face Vassar first on April 8 at 1:00 PM. The Ramapo match will follow at 3:00 PM.

The Falcons controlled much of the contest and rarely trailed during the match. The first set was all Messiah, as the Falcons took advantage of a Hood team with limited depth. Messiah won that set and only allowed seven points in the lopsided 25-7 win.
The second and third sets were much of the same, with multiple Falcons finding their way in the stats. In the second set, the Falcons powered through 25-14 and finished off the third set with a 25-17 win. Ten different Falcons found the kill column on a night where the Falcons hit .421.
Zac Barbato led the team in kills with eight while
Brayden Parks and
Luke Olson each had six.
Adam Casper chipped in with five kills.
Marcos Garcia had a team high 19 assists with
Jonathan Nixon adding 14 assists of his own. Nine different Falcons recorded digs with
Lucas Plumey leading the team with five.

The win takes the Falcons record to 23-3 and caps off their conference schedule with an 8-1 mark. The Falcons will travel to New York for a tri-match against Vassar and Ramapo starting at 1:00 PM on Saturday, April 8.
