Falcons Earn 11 Academic All-District Honors

AUSTIN, Texas – Over the past two weeks the College Sports Communications (CSC) honored a number of Messiah student-athletes with the announcement of the Academic All-District teams for baseball, softball, and women's tennis. Among the honorees were 11 Messiah student-athletes with five from baseball, four from women's tennis, and two from softball.
 
Baseball
    Dustin Isanogle – So. – Catcher – 3.79 GPA, Accounting
    Sam Zercher – Sr. – Third Baseman – 3.82 GPA, Applied Health Science
    Joshua Ammons – Jr. – First Baseman – 3.81 GPA, Politics & Intl Relations
    Evan Wagaman – So. – Outfielder – 3.80 GPA, Applied Health Science
    Christian Woodie – Sr. – Pitcher – 4.00 GPA, Applied Health Science
 
Softball
    Lydia Collison – Jr. – Pitcher – 3.91 GPA, Applied Health Science
    Maggie Chinnadurai – So. – Pitcher – 3.68 GPA, Mathematics
 
Women's Tennis
    Kasi Conjack – Jr. – 3.90 GPA, Psychology
    Nicole Lee – Sr. – 3.61 GPA, Applied Health Science
    Rebekah Sheaffer – Jr. – 3.94 GPA, Studio Art
    Angela Tozzi – Gr. – 4.00 GPA, Business Administration
 
About the CSC Academic All-District Program
The 2023 Academic All-District program, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field/court and in the classroom. All honorees must carry a cumulative grade-point average of at least 3.50 and be enrolled at the institution for at least one full calendar year. Academic All-District honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America honorees will be announced in early December.
