ANNVILLE, PA. – On Thursday morning, the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) announced the All-MAC Commonwealth men's tennis teams for the 2022-2023 season. Among the honorees were a duo of Falcons who led the squad at the top of the lineup.
Chase Wilson and
Connor Rose each earned a First Team All-Conference this season for their consistent efforts throughout the year.
Anchoring the No. 1 spot for the Falcons once again,
Chase Wilson earned his second All-MAC Commonwealth accolade of his career, both of which include First Team selections. During the year, Wilson went 8-6 overall in singles with a 4-2 conference mark. In doubles, he teamed up with
Connor Rose to go 9-5 overall with a 5-1 conference record.
At the No. 2 position,
Connor Rose earned an All-MAC Commonwealth First Team selection, also his second accolade of his career, his first of which was also a First Team nod last season. Rose went 7-7 on the season in singles and 4-2 in the conference. As mentioned previously, Rose went 9-5 overall in doubles with
Chase Wilson. Rose and Wilson owned a 5-1 conference mark on the year.
The play of
Chase Wilson and
Connor Rose helped lead the Falcons to the MAC Commonwealth Playoffs this season, where they fell in the Conference Semifinals to Stevenson 5-1.
