ANNVILLE, Pa. – On Monday morning, the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) announced their Academic Honor Rolls for the 2022-23 Winter and 2023 Spring seasons. Among the 3,819 student-athletes honored by the conference were 314 Messiah students. The Falcons also claimed 110 Honor Roll accolades in the Fall for 424 total honors this academic year. Messiah earned 144 laurels this winter and 170 nods this spring.
The MAC Honor Roll celebrates all student-athletes who achieved a 3.20 grade-point average (GPA) in the semester of their competing season. The listing includes all student-athletes who compete in a winter of spring varsity sport that achieved a 3.20 GPA in the 2023 Spring semester.
Across the 18 MAC schools, Messiah had the second-most honorees in Monday's announcement. With 314 honorees across the spring and winter, the Falcons trailed only Stevens Institute of Technology, who claimed 436 honors this spring.
In total, Messiah had 83 student-athletes earn a perfect 4.0 GPA this past spring semester with women's indoor and outdoor track and field leading the way with 13 4.0's each.
Among the sports honored Monday, women's indoor track and field led the way with 43 team members seeing their name listed.

About the MAC Honor Roll
The winter and spring academic honor rolls are comprised of student-athletes who compete in a varsity level winter and/or spring sport and registered a spring term/semester GPA of 3.20 (on a 4.00 scale) or higher. Since 2020-21, the MAC has allowed its institutions to name all of their NCAA-competing sports to the MAC Academic Honor Roll even if the MAC does not sponsor the sport. To date, the additional sports recognized are beach volleyball (spring), men's and women's fencing (winter) and women's wrestling (winter).
