Akselsen Earns United Soccer Coaches All-American Honors

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – On Thursday afternoon, the United Soccer Coaches (USC) announced their 2024 Division III Women's Soccer All-Americans. The Falcons earned one selection, with Kristina Akselsen earning a third-team honor.
 
The 2023 National Player of the Year, Kristina Akselsen earned USC Third team All-American honors after another season helping lead the Falcons midfield. The now three-time All-American, Akselsen finished the season with 18 points on seven goals and four assists. Akselsen helped the flow of the offense by drawing the attention of opposing defenders that led to many goals for the Falcons throughout the season. Akselsen totaled a season-high four points with a goal and two assists, in the Falcons win over Gordon College in the NCAA First Round. Akselsen finishes her senior year with 23 career goals, nine assists, and 55 points, while starting in 87 career games.
