ANNVILLE, Pa. – This week, two Messiah University student-athletes were honored by the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Commonwealth for their performances for the week ending on March, 10, 2024.
Chad Teresky was named MAC Commonwealth Men's Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week and
Kasi Conjack was named MAC Commonwealth Women's Tennis Player of the Week.
Chad Teresky – MAC Commonwealth Offensive Player of the Week
Chad Teresky (Messiah / Jr., A / Derry, N.H.) led the Falcons offense on the week with 13 combined points in the wins over Bridgewater College and the University of Mary Washington. In the 17-11 win over Bridgewater College on Wednesday, Teresky was a crucial part of the Falcons offense dishing out six assists on the afternoon. In the thrilling 13-12 win over Mary Washington on Saturday, Teresky continued to dominate with seven more points on five goals and two assists. After the Falcons trailed 5-0 early in the first quarter, Teresky had four goals and an assist to help the Falcons tie the score at eight at the half. Teresky then added a goal and an assist in the second half to lead the Falcons to the tight win.
Kasi Conjack – MAC Commonwealth Player of the Week
Kasi Conjack led the Falcons to a 9-0 sweep of East Stroudsburg University on Monday to open the spring season. Conjack helped start the day off strong for the Falcons with a 8-1 win in her number one doubles matchup. In the singles, Conjack continued to dominate, winning 6-2 and 6-1 to defeat the top player on East Stroudsburg.
