LEXINGTON, Ky. – Earlier this week, the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) announced the Division III All-Region Awards for the 2024 season. Among the 56 student-athletes represented on the All-Region teams was Ryan Givens. Seth Graybill was also recognized, earning the Regional Newcomer of the Year award. The two represented the Falcons this season after their tremendous performances on the court this season.

The regional honors come during the same week as the All-Conference awards. Givens was selected for the MAC's first team while Graybill was selected as the Rookie of the Year by the MAC.

For Givens, this is his second consecutive year earning All-Region honors. In the middle, the Falcon has put together an all-around quality season. During his junior season, Givens had a .435 hitting percentage, picking up 261 kills along the way. That's 110 more kills than the Falcon had in the previous season. Defensively, Givens secured 70 blocks, leading Messiah in that category.

Seth Graybill had an outstanding first-year season. Graybill had 189 digs to lead in his rookie season, finishing third in the conference. The Lititz, Pa. native was exceptional for the Falcons this season and will look to continue to find success in the coming years with Messiah.
