Eight Falcons Named to MAC Commonwealth Softball Teams

ANNVILLE, Pa. – On Wednesday morning, the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) announced their 2024 All-MAC Commonwealth teams. The Falcons earned eight selections after a strong season on the diamond. Lydia Collison, Hannah Dyer, and Kandice Schlabach earned first-team honors. Fallon Feaser, McKenzie Shannon, Alexa Burger, and Paige Eakes each were named to the second team. Also, Jaden Keister was named to the honorable mention team.
 
Lydia Collison was named to the MAC Commonwealth First Team for the second straight season after a dominant year in the circle for the Falcons. Collison appeared in 24 games with 22 starts in the 2024 season. Collison finished with a 14-5 record with a 2.16 ERA. Collison struck out 105 batters in 132.2 innings pitched and tossed 15 complete games with three shutouts. Collison struck out a career-high 11 batters in the 7-3 win at Alvernia on March 16.
 
Hannah Dyer earned a spot on the first team after earning second team honors last season. Dyer finished the season leading the Falcons with a .549 on-base percentage and in runs scored with 43. Dyer finished second on the team with a .387 batting average and second with a 1.112 OPS. Dyer led all of Division III with 26 hit by pitches during the season and shattered her own program record with hit by pitches she set in 2022 with 15. Dyer also was a force on the bases with 27 stolen bases in 27 attempts.
 
Kandice Schlabach also earned first team honors after a dominant season for the Falcons. Schlabach led the Falcons in batting average (.441), OPS (1.234), hits (60), home runs (8), RBIs (53), and slugging percentage (.757). Schlabach's 53 RBIs were the second-most in a single season in program history. Schlabach had her best game of the season against Stevenson on April 20, hitting for the cycle, while leading the Falcons to a 17-6 win. Schlabach also earned MAC Commonwealth Offensive Player of the Week on April 8.
 
Fallon Feaser was named to the second team after an impressive rookie season for the Falcons. Feaser led the Falcons with a 1.73 ERA in 19 appearances with 13 starts. Feaser went 10-3 on the season with nine complete games and two shutouts. Feaser tallied 52 strikeouts on the season in 89.0 innings pitched. Feaser's best start of the season came against York on April 13. Feaser pitched a no-hitter in the Falcons 2-0 win, with nine strikeouts. Feaser earned two MAC Commonwealth Pitcher of the Week honors on April 15 and April 23.
 
McKenzie Shannon earned second team honors after being named to the first team in 2023. Shannon finished the season with a .284 batting average and a .848 OPS. In the middle of the lineup for the Falcons, Shannon hit four home runs and 10 doubles with 29 RBIs. Shannon totaled 31 hits and scored 20 runs. Shannon also was impressive behind the plate for the Falcons with a 1.000 fielding percentage and 11 assists.
 
Alexa Burger was named to the second team for the second straight season for the Falcons. Burger batted .320 with two home runs, four doubles, four triples, and 22 RBIs. Burger totaled 41 hits on the season with 33 runs scored. Burger also stole 22 bases in 24 attempts.
 
Paige Eakes earned was named to the second team after a strong 2204 season. Eakes finished third on the Falcons with a .347 batting average and a .979 OPS. Eakes finished second on the team with a .593 slugging percentage with four home runs, 15 doubles, and a triple. Eakes tallied 41 hits, 26 runs scored, and 25 RBIs on the season.
 
Jaden Keister was named to the honorable mention team after a strong season as the Falcons designated player for 26 games. Keister tallied 28 hits, six doubles, 10 RBIs, and 15 runs scored. Keister finished the season with a .839 OPS and finished second on the team with eight hit by pitches.
