GRANTHAM, Pa. – On Saturday afternoon, the Messiah University men's tennis team dropped a close match to the Bullets of Gettysburg College, 4-3. The two teams split the singles matches, with
Lance Wilson,
Brady Hahn, and
Micah Batson getting wins in the singles matches. The Bullets got the deciding point with two wins in the doubles matches. Due to darkness the teams played single set matches.

Doubles
The Falcons first doubles' team of
Lance Wilson and
Brady Hahn fell 7-5 to start the doubles matches. The third doubles tandem of
Micah Batson and
Gabe Dunbar fell 6-1 to give Gettysburg a 1-0 lead to start
Singles
Due to darkness looming, the singles matches were single set matches to eight points.
Lance Wilson won his first singles match, 8-3, to tie the match at one.
Brady Hahn then won his second singles match 8-5 to put the Falcons in the lead. The Bullets won third, fourth, and fifth singles to give the Bullets a 4-2 lead and the win in the match.
Micah Batson won his sixth singles match 8-1 to put the final score at 4-3.
