NEWTOWN, Pa. – On Monday morning, the Middle Atlantic Conference announced the 2025 All-MAC Commonwealth Field Hockey Team. Five Falcons were honored with Lillian Peters leading the way with Defensive Player of the Year honors. Peters was joined on the first team by Aubrey Clark and Ellie Lefever. Chelsea Carpenter earned second team honors while Joy Lippert was named Honorable Mention.

Senior Lillian Peters was named MAC Commonwealth Defensive Player of the Year following a successful season anchoring the Messiah defense. Peters also earned her second-straight First-Team honor. Peters anchored a Falcons' defense that allowed just 22 goals on 146 shots.

Aubrey Clark earned First Team honors at Forward after leading the Falcons with a career-high 14 goals and 30 points during her junior season. Clark tallied three goals in the first half of the season before missing two weeks of play. In her return to the field, Clark made a statement with a hat-trick in the Falcons' win over Albright. Just a week later, Clark scored four goals in a win over Eastern to continue her offensive dominance. Clark was second in the conference with 14 goals and first in game-winning goals with five. This is Clark's second honor and second on first team.

Earning First Team honors at midfield for the first time in her career was junior Ellie Lefever. Lefever played a key role in Messiah's strong possession game in transition through the midfield. Lefever made her presence known on the field with seven goals and four assists.

Sophomore midfielder Chelsea Carpenter earned the first honor of her career, being named Second Team after helping the Falcons control ball possession in the midfield and pushing the ball towards the net. Carpenter controlled momentum through the field and pushed forward at times for six goals and two assists this season.

Rounding out the Messiah honors is sophomore goalkeeper Joy Lippert with a spot on the Honorable Mention team, the first honor of her career. Lippert played all 1199:03 for the Falcons this season. Lippert had a 1.10 goals against average with a 0.747 save percentage. Her 1.10 goals against average ranked second in the conference. Lippert tallied a conference-high seven shutouts this season.
