COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – On Wednesday, Dec. 3, the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) announced the 2025 NFHCA Division III All-Region teams sponsored by Apex Field Hockey. Division III teams are separated into six regions and each of these regions recognizes up to 16 student-athletes on both the first team and second teams. Three Falcons earned honors in Region V with Lillian Peters being named First Team and Aubrey Clark and Ellie Lefever being named Second Team.
The NFHCA Division III All-Region team announcement is the first in a list of NFHCA postseason awards over the next several weeks. Next to be announced are the NFHCA Regional Players of the Year on December 11, followed by the NFHCA All-American teams on December 16 and the NFHCA National Player of the Year on December 18.
Lillian Peters earned first team honors after anchoring the Falcons' defense in her senior season. The Falcons' defense succeeded only 24 goals on the season, holding opponents to an average of 1.26 goals per game while picking up five shutout wins this season.
Aubrey Clark was named to the Second team after leading the Messiah offense with 30 points, tallying 14 goals and two assists. Clark was second in the MAC Commonwealth with 14 goals and first in game-winning goals with five.
Rounding out honors for the Falcons was a Second team honor for Ellie Lefever. Lefever played a key part in the midfield for Messiah, controlling possession through transition, causing turnovers and recovering loose balls. She added seven goals and four assists on the season.
