2024 Season Recap
The Falcons finished the 2024 season with a 12-6 record and 5-2 record in MAC Commonwealth play. The 12 wins were most wins for the Falcons in a single season since 2015. The Falcons finished the season with a 26-19 loss to the eventual MAC Commonwealth Champions, Stevenson in the Semifinal game. The Falcons were dominant at home, winning all seven games at home last season.
2025 Roster Outlook
The Falcons offense returns a ton of talent for the 2025 season. The Falcons return 2025 Inside Lacrosse Preseason All-American
Chad Teresky, who will lead the Messiah offense after totaling 109 points in 2024. The Falcons also return top goal scorer,
Bobby Berg who totaled a program record 74 goals last season. The offense also returns
Mike McKnelly,
Owen Hammel,
Jesse Lynch,
Michael Cook,
Will Ehrhart, and
Chris Esslinger, who all will look to make an impact in 2025
The Falcons defense returns top defensemen,
David Gross, who led the Falcons with 30 caused turnovers in 2024. The Falcons also return
Walker Penchansky and
Grant Peffall, who will also look to lead a young core of defensemen this season.
For the specialists,
Ben Antel returns at the faceoff X for the Falcons in 2025 after finishing 2024 with a team-high 141 faceoff wins.
Jourdain Algarin returns in cage for the Falcons after an impressive 2024 freshman season. Algarin started all 18 games for the Falcons and made 202 saves.
2025 Schedule
The Falcons open the 2025 season on Saturday, Feb. 15 at home against Catholic at 1:00 p.m. The game be the first game at the new Whitmer Family Lacrosse Stadium. The Falcons open the season with seven of their first eight games at home. The Falcons open MAC Commonwealth play on Saturday, April 5 at Hood. The Falcons also have key home conference games against Eastern (April 9), No. 18 Stevenson (April 19), and York (April 26).
