MANAHAWKIN, N.J.- On Friday, Feb. 14, the National Field Hockey Coaches' Association (NFHCA) announced the 2024 Division III Scholars of Distinction. More than 550 undergraduate student-athletes from more than 135 institutions comprise the list. This program acknowledges exceptional undergraduate student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.9 or higher through the fall semester, nominated by their NFHCA member coaches. Messiah had four honorees named to the elite list, including three first-year students.
Additionally, on Wednesday, Feb. 12, the NFHCA announced the 2024 Division III National Academic Squad. More than 1880 undergraduate student-athletes from more than 150 institutions comprise the team. Messiah had 13 honorees named to the squad as listed below. Teagan Murrie.
