NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. – On Tuesday, Feb. 18, the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) announced the IWLCA National Players of the Week awards for the week ending Feb. 16, 2025. Katie Bukiewicz was named the IWLCA DIII Defensive Player or the Week.
Bukiewicz was named IWLCA Defensive Player of the Week in Division III after a standout performance in a 10-8 win over No. 24 Scranton. She contributed six draw controls, four ground balls, and caused three turnovers, playing a key role in the Falcons' defensive success and season-opening victory.
