Harden, Jennett Earn MAC Player of the Week Honors

ANNVILLE, Pa. – On Monday afternoon, the Middle Atlantic Conference released the weekly awards for the week of Jan. 27. The Messiah Falcons claimed two awards with Reese Harden named the Commonwealth Offensive Player of the Week for Women's Basketball and Halle Jennett was named the Middle Atlantic Conference Track Athlete of the Week.
 
Reese Harden led the Falcons in yet another 2-0 week to stay undefeated in MAC Commonwealth play. Harden opened the week with 17 points, three assists, two blocks, two rebounds, and a steal in the Falcons 76-51 win over Stevenson on Wednesday. Harden almost had a perfect evening shooting 8-9 from the floor. On Saturday, Harden continued her dominant week with 19 points, seven assists, two rebounds, and a steal in the Falcons 70-43 win over Hood. Harden was also a key factor in the Falcons dominant second-half after Messiah trailed by two at the half. The Falcons outscored the Blazers, 46-17 in the second-half to earn the win and stay undefeated in conference play.
 
Halle Jennett ran a season-best time of 25.79 in the 200 Meter Dash, finishing third out of 50 runners and as the top Division III competitor on day one of the2025 Bison Open and Multi hosted by Bucknell on Friday, Jan. 31 and Saturday, Feb. 1. Her time improves her own second-fastest time on the Messiah Indoor Top Ten list. On day two, Jennett ran a new personal-best time in the 400 Meter of 59.18, finishing first among 19 runners. Jennett's time is now the third-fastest on the Messiah Indoor Top Ten list.
