HILTON HEAD, S.C. - On Thursday morning, the Falcons suffered a 6-1 loss to the Lynchburg University Hornets. The Falcons got off to a slow start losing two of the three doubles courts. Following those matches, the Hornets continued to be impressive on all five singles courts to down the Falcons.

Court three was the first to finish during doubles play as
Luke Risser and teammate
Elijah Noll suffered a 6-2 loss to open the day. On Court two,
Brady Hahn /
Michael Sell would fall in similar fashion, losing their court by a score of 6-2. The Falcons were able to round out doubles play with a win on court one.
Chase Wilson /
Lance Wilson pulled out the tough 7-5 win over their opponents, but by that point the Hornets already secured the one point lead.
Singles:
Michael Sells court finished first as Hornet Timothee Depaqiutt defeated Sell by scores of 6-4, 6-2 to grab a 2-0 match lead. On court four,
Elijah Noll suffered a similar loss dropping his match 6-4, 6-2.
Lance Wilson would pick up the lone win on court three as he downed his opponent in a tough (6-3, 6-7(5), 6-5) tiebreaker set.
Chase Wilson,
Brady Hahn, and
Luke Risser rounded out the match in order dropping all of their courts, giving Lynchburg the win.
