ANNVILLE, Pa. – On Monday afternoon, the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) announced the Players of the Week, for the week ending March 23. The Falcons earned three awards across three sports for the week. Messiah earned MAC Commonwealth Offensive Player of the Week in both Men's and Women's Lacrosse with
Bobby Berg and
Grace Pettitt earning honors.
Matt Luchovick was named MAC Commonwealth Player of the Week after a historic performance in the midweek match-up.
Bobby Berg led the Falcons offense with an impressive 15 point week. Berg led the Falcons in the 19-11 win over the College of Wooster with five goals and five assists, tying his career high in a single game with 10 points. Berg then capped off the week with a hat trick and two assists in the Falcons tight loss to Stockton University on Saturday.

Grace Pettitt continues to be a key part of Messiah's offense this season. In a cross-conference victory over the Dutchmen of Lebanon Valley, Pettitt led the Falcons with four points on two goals and two assists in the 13-1 win. In Saturday's 16-9 winover St. Mary's College of Maryland, Pettitt again led the Falcons with seven points, scoring three goals and adding four assists.

Matt Luchovick powered the Falcons offense on the week starting with a historic game against Dickinson on Wednesday. Luchovick went 5-5 with four home runs, including a grand slam, and nine RBIs in the Falcons 15-9 win. Luchovick finished the week with a hit in the Falcons 7-4 win over Albright to put his batting average at .545 on the week.
