NEWTOWN, Pa. – On Tuesday morning, the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) announced their 2024-25 MAC Commonwealth women's basketball major awards winner and All-MAC Commonwealth teams. The Falcons earned three major awards and three All-Conference selections.
Reese Harden and
Chloe Milanesi led the Falcons this season, with Harden earning Offensive Player of the Year, and Milanesi earning Defensive Player of the Year. Both Harden and Milanesi earned first team selections as well.
Head Coach
Mike Miller earned Coach of the Year to round out the Falcons major awards.
Liv Monturo rounded out the Falcons' all conference selections on the Honorable Mention team.
Reese Harden earned her second straight MAC Commonwealth Offensive Player of the Year after another dominant season this year. Harden led the Falcons on the season with 15.1 points per game, while shooting 46 percent from the field. Harden also added 3.1 rebounds per game, a team-high 90 assists, 41 steals, and 27 blocks. Harden was named MAC Commonwealth Championship MVP after a 24-point performance against Widener.
Chloe Milanesi earned MAC Commonwealth Defensive Player of the Year after a great year on the defensive end for the Falcons. Milanesi finished 12th in Division III with 91 steals and 17th in the country with 3.37 steals per game. Milanesi also added 9.8 points per game, 6.3 rebounds per game, 55 assists, and 17 blocks.
Liv Monturo earned MAC Commonwealth Honorable Mention after a career year for the Falcons. Monturo finished with 13.6 points per game, a team-high 6.8 rebounds per game, 33 steals, 30 assists, and 18 blocks. Monturo grew in just her second season playing for the Falcons, starting in all 27 games after only starting four games last season.
Head Coach
Mike Miller earned MAC Commonwealth Coach of the Year after leading the Falcons to 25-2 overall record and a 14-0 record in MAC Commonwealth play. The undefeated record in conference play, is just the eighth in program history. Even though the Falcons were predicted to finish third in the MAC Commonwealth, the Falcons rolled to their 16th Conference Championship in program history in a 74-46 win over Widener.
