GETTYSBURG, PA. – On Monday afternoon, the Messiah Women's tennis team dropped a tough match to the Bullets 6-1. The Falcons were battling all day with Isabella Ipri / Annie Forry winning court two of doubles. Along with a singles win from Annie Forry on court five. However, despite those court wins, the Bullets were able to take the overall match.

How It Happened:
Doubles:
The duo Calla Stoltzfus / Naomi Parson was the first to finish on court three with a 6-0 loss. Despite a 6-1 win from Isabella Ipri / Annie Forry on court two, the Falcons could not secure the one-point lead after a tightly contest 6-4 loss on court one.
 
Singles:
Trailing 1-0 in the match, the Falcons were hoping to bounce back in singles play. However, the Bullets had other plans and were able to take the first three courts of singles action and secure the match win overall. On court one, Kiara Bomboy dropped both sets 6-1, 6-3. Calla Stoltzfus finished second on court four with a 6-2, 6-1 defeat. Jocelyn Valdez's court was the final straw as she suffered a 6-2, 6-2 loss on court two. The match had been secured by that point, but Annie Forry was able to take one from Gettysburg with a 6-4, 6-3 win on court five.
