READING, PA. – On Thursday afternoon, the Messiah women's tennis team dropped a 7-0 match to top seeded Alright College. The Falcons suffered their first loss in conference play to the undefeated Lions on the road.

Doubles action was not rolling the Falcons way as the Lions managed to take all three courts from Messiah's duos.

Kylie Walker suffered an early 6-0 loss on court one. Then on court two,
Bella Heckman /
Jocelyn Valdez fell to their opponents 6-1, that win would secure the Lions 1-0 match lead.
Singles:
Kiara Bomboy battled on court one against the Lions No. 1 player. Bomboy would suffer the 6-1 set loss but forced a tiebreaker in set two tied at 6-6 but came up short losing 7-5 to drop court one. On court two,
Kylie Walker dropped both sets to her opponent 6-2, 6-3.
Bella Heckman would also force a tiebreaker in set one but could not pull it out losing 7-5. She would ultimately drop the court after a set two 6-2 defeat. That win would secure the Lions victory and hand the Falcons their first loss in Commonwealth play.
