GRANTHAM, PA. - On Saturday afternoon, the Messiah men's tennis team defeated Alvernia University 6-1 to remain undefeated in conference play and claim the top spot in the MAC Commonwealth tournament. The Falcons defeated a short handed Golden Wolves by winning both courts during doubles play and winning four out of the five courts in singles not including the forfeited sixth court.

The Falcons took both courts during doubles action to pick up the early 1-0 match lead. On court one, ones duo

Lance Wilson picked up a nice 6-2 win over Alvernia top duo.
Brady Hahn /
Michael Sell wrapped up doubles for the Falcons with a sweet 6-0 win on court two.
Singles:
Lance Wilson kicked things off in singles play with a 6-2, 7-5 two set victory on court two.
Kyle Huang picked up a nice win on court five, defeating his opponent 6-1, 6-3. Leading 3-0, the Falcons were looking to put away the match with one more win.
Zhenya Martin would do just that for Messiah with a pair of 6-2 set victories right next to Huang on court four.
Chase Wilson secured the final win for the Falcons on the ones court.
