Three Falcons Earn Player of the Week Honors

NEWTOWN, Pa. – The Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) has announced its conference weekly award recipients for the week ending April 27, 2025. A total of 20 student-athletes were recognized for performances from April 21, 2025 to April 27, 2025, with three Falcons earning honors. Messiah swept the Commonwealth Baseball awards with Zachary Harris being named Pitcher of the Week and Evan Wagaman being named Player of the Week. John Condon was named the MAC Men's Track Athlete of the Week.

Zachary Harris was named the MAC Commonwealth Pitched of the Week after an impressive start for the Falcons on Tuesday afternoon against the Eagles of Mary Washington. Harris pitched seven shutout innings, allowing only three hits and striking out nine batters. Harris also had a no-hitter going through 5 2/3 innings before a single broke up the no-hit bid in the top of the sixth.

For the third time this season, Senior Evan Wagaman was named the MAC Commonwealth Player of the Week. Evan led the Falcons on the week, batting .571 with two home runs, two doubles, 12 RBIs, and four runs scored in the Falcons four games. Wagaman opened the week with a hit and two RBIs in the Falcons 12-2 win over Mary Washington. In game one against Widener, Wagaman tallied three hits, including a home run, five RBIs, and two runs scored in the Falcons 11-7 win. On Saturday against Widener, Wagaman totaled four hits, including a home run, five RBIs, a run scored, and three walks.

John Condon earned MAC Men's Track Athlete of the Week after claiming second in the 800 Meter Run at the Paul Kaiser Classic hosted by Shippensburg University. In a field largely composed of Division II competitors, Condon finished second overall in a time of 1:54.10, bested only by a member of the Delaware Track Club.
