NEWTOWN, Pa. – On Monday morning, the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) announced their 2025 baseball all conference teams. The Falcons earned three MAC Commonwealth major awards, and 10 players were selected to the All-MAC Commonwealth teams.
Evan Wagaman earned Player of the Year,
Zachary Harris earned Rookie of the Year, and
Phill Shallenberger earned Coach of the Year.

Along with Wagaman,
Noah Barrall,
Drew Hurst,
Matt Luchovick, and
Isaiah Parido all earned first-team honors.
Christian Foltz,
Jarrett Gordon, and
Luke Ott all were named to the Second Team.
Dylan Beard and
Jason Long both earned Honorable Mention honors.

Evan Wagaman earned MAC Commonwealth Player of the Year and First-Team honors after an amazing season for the Falcons. Wagaman finished the season batting .340 with 10 home runs and 55 RBIs. Wagaman was tied for the conference lead with 10 home runs and led the conference with 55 RBIs. Wagaman also added 11 doubles, six triples, and 50 runs scored on the season. Wagaman was not just power, as his speed on the base paths helped him lead the conference with 29 stolen bases.

Zachary Harris earned MAC Commonwealth Rookie of the Year after a stellar first season in a Falcons' uniform. Harris finished second amongst qualified pitchers on the Falcons' staff with a 3.93 ERA. Harris went 6-2 in 52.2 innings pitched, while appearing in 13 games and starting eight games on the mound. Harris finished the season second on the Falcons with 58 strikeouts with only 11 walked batters.

Drew Hurst earned a spot on the first team after another great season at the plate for the Falcons. The sophomore batted .278 with four home runs and 33 RBIs. Hurst also added seven doubles and a triple, while scoring 43 runs.

Matt Luchovick earned first-team honors after splitting his first year in a Falcons uniform as a catcher and designated hitter. Luchovick batted .262 with five home runs and 16 RBIs. Luchovick also added nine doubles, and 20 runs scored.

Isaiah Parido earned his second-straight first-team honors after another great season for the Falcons. Parido batted ..297 with nine home runs and 40 RBIs, while leading off for the Falcons. Parido also added 12 doubles and six triples for the Falcons, while scoring a team-high 55 runs. Parido also used his speed on the bases, swiping 17 bags on the year.

Noah Barrall earned first-team honors after a great year out of the pen for the Falcons. Barrall appeared in 15 games, with a 5.01 ERA, and 30 strikeouts. As the teams main closer, Barrall finished the season with six saves. Barrall was also dominant in conference play sporting a 0.90 ERA in 10 innings pitched with 13 strikeouts.

Christian Foltz earned second-team honors after leading the Falcons pitching staff during the 2025 season. Foltz finished the season with a 5-3 record, 3.88 ERA, and a conference-high 78 strikeouts. Foltz appeared in 13 games, with 11 starts and threw 58 innings on the mound, while opponents batted only .192 against him all season.

Jarrett Gordon earned second-team honors after a great season at second for the Falcons. Gordon finished second on the team with a .326 batting average and added six home runs and 35 RBIs. Gordon added eight doubles and a triple, while scoring 34 runs for Messiah. He also used his speed to swipe 17 bags on the season. Gordon was also great in the field, not only making highlight reel plays, but also taking part in 20 doubles plays on the season.

Luke Ott earned a spot on second team after an impressive season in left for the Falcons. Ott batted .302 with two home runs and 33 RBIs. Ott showed off his more-gap-to-gap power, leading the Falcons with 14 doubles and adding in three triples. Ott also had great speed on the bases, scoring 35 runs and stealing 20 bases on the season.

Dylan Beard earned an Honorable Mention selection after a great senior season for the Falcons. Beard finished third on the Falcons with a .308 batting average, with seven home runs and 37 RBIs. Beard added eight doubles, while scoring 32 runs.

Jason Long also earned an Honorable Mention honor after an impressive Sophomore campaign on the mound for the Falcons. Long finished the season with a 5-2 record in 12 games started. Long finished with a 4.10 ERA, with 57 strikeouts in 59.1 innings pitched. Long went undefeated in conference play with a 3.03 ERA and 38 strikeouts.

Head Coach
Phill Shallenberger was named the Commonwealth Coach of the Year after leading the Falcons to a 31-14 record with an 18-3 record in conference play. Shallenberger picked up his 100th win as the Messiah Head Coach on April 26 against Widener University.
