Softball Earns Six NFCA All-Region Honors

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Last Friday, the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) announced their 2025 All-Region teams. The Falcons had six players named to the All-Region V teams, which ranked tied for fourth for most players on the All-Region teams by one school. The Falcons had two players named to each of the three teams and were tied with No. 8 Salisbury and No. 18 Moravian with six players named to the All-Region V teams.
 
Allie Book and Kandice Schlabach led the Falcons with First Team Selections, after great seasons on the diamond for the Falcons. Hannah Dyer and Fallon Feaser both earned second-team selections, and Maggie Chinnadurai and Brielle Rosario rounded out the Falcons selections with third-team honors.
 
Allie Book was named to the first team after a career season for the Falcons in 2025. Book finished the season leading the Falcons with a .438 batting average, 63 hits, and 15 doubles. Book also finished the year with career-highs in batting average, hits, runs scored (32), doubles, triples (3), home runs (2), RBIs (40), and OPS (1.100). Book also tallied 20 multi-hit games out of 48 games played, and had only 11 games this season where she did not tally a hit. Book also led qualified hitters in the MAC Commonwealth in batting average, hits, and doubles. Book also was strong on the defensive end, with a .983 fielding percentage, with 271 putouts and 10 assists.
 
After Second-Team All-Region honors last season, Kandice Schlabach earned first team honors after an impressive 2025 season. Schlabach led the Falcons with nine home runs, 42 RBIs, and tied for first with 22 walks and 98 total bases. Schlabach also finished second on the team with a 1.219 OPS, 55 hits, and a .685 slugging percentage. Schlabach also led the MAC Commonwealth in home runs and RBIs.
 
The 2025 MAC Commonwealth Player of the Year, Hannah Dyer earned a second-team honor after another dominate season for the Falcons. Dyer led the Falcons with a 1.219 OPS, 59 runs scored, 23 HBP, 46 stolen bases, .519 on-base percentage, .700 slugging percentage, and tied the team-high with 22 walks and 98 total bases. Dyer also added some power this season, totaling a career-high six home runs, 11 doubles, and nine triples. Dyer finishes her career with the program record in career triples (20), career runs scored (160), and HBP (76).
 
Fallon Feaser earned her first All-Region honor after a great season in the circle and at the plate for the Falcons. In the circle, Feaser finished the season with an 11-4 record, a 2.76 ERA, in 23 appearances and 20 games started. Feaser ended the season with seven complete games and two shutouts, including a shutout of No. 22 Swarthmore in the NCAA Regionals to put the Falcons into the Regional Championship. Feaser in total finished the season with 111.2 innings pitched and 65 strikeouts. Feaser also had a great year at the plate for the Falcons. Feaser batted .355, with 12 extra-base hits and 39 RBIs. Feaser totaled 49 hits and added 31 runs scored on the season.
 
Maggie Chinnadurai earned a spot of the third team after a brilliant season in the circle for the Falcons. Chinnadurai appeared in 33 games with 22 starts with a 23-5 record. She led the MAC Commonwealth with a 1.91 ERA, 14 complete games, five shutouts, 129 strikeouts, 146.2 innings pitched, and finished second in the conference with a .212 batting average against. Chinndurai led the Falcons in the MAC Commonwealth Tournament, pitching back-to-back games, allowing only two runs in 14 innings pitched to give the Falcons the automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament. Chinnadurai also added two saves on the season.
 
Brielle Rosario earned a third-team selection after a fantastic season in left field for the Falcons. The junior finished the season with a .344 batting average, 42 hits, 13 extra-base hits, 24 RBIs, and 19 runs scored. Rosario set career-highs in every single hitting category, while only striking out three times on the season. In the field, Rosario also had a great year, only making one error, while having 42 putouts and an assist.
