Three Falcons Earn IWLCA All-Region Honors

NORTHBOROUGH, Mass. – On Friday, May 16, the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) named their 2025 All-Region teams. The IWLCA honored 256 student-athletes with a selection to one of the All-Region teams. These student-athletes are now eligible to be named to a national IWLCA All-American team. The IWLCA will announce the 2025 IWLCA Division All-American teams on May 23. The Falcons put two players on the Metro Region First Team and one on the Second Team. Senior Emma Hagg was named to the First Team as a defender while Sophomore Grace Pettitt earned First Team honors at Attack. Midfielder Hayley Lettinga rounded out the honors, with the Junior picking up a nod on the Second Team.

Senior Emma Hagg earns her fourth IWLCA All-Region honor and second-straight First Team honor after a dominant senior season in the back field. Hagg started all 20 games for Messiah this season and led the Falcons in caused turnovers with 57, ground balls with 72, and was second in draw controls with 79.

Grace Pettitt earns her first IWLCA All-Region honor after another successful season of leading the Falcons offense. Pettitt started in all 19 games she played and led Messiah with 87 points on 40 goals and 47 assists with a season high nine assists versus Alvernia.

Midfielder Hayley Lettinga also earns her first IWLCA All-Region honor, being named to the Second Team after leading the Falcons with 60 goals. She added three assists and notched five game-winning goals this season. She collected 25 ground balls, with 11 caused turnovers and three draw controls.
